A Must Read For All!!! 5 STARS
Linda Herman, gave it to the world exactly the way it is about
HIV/AIDs in the African - American communities as well as what
holds true in other communities. Imagine finding out that your 'Huxtable-like'
lifestyle was nothing but a lie and by the time you find out,
its too late. That’s what happened to Sade Peters when she
discovered her husband wasn't just low-down but on the down-low.
An outstanding, absolute must read for all!

Herman writes with compassion and does a phenomenal job at setting the stage for this troubled marriage. Even though this is a novella, the characters evolve and the story develops at a fast pace with an ending that will force you to reflect on your relationships. The details provided prove that Herman spent hours researching the universal problem of men on the down low, dealing with a problematic marriage and coping with HIV. CONSEQUENCES: WHEN LOVE IS BLIND is a narrative that will appeal to a broad audience providing education and understanding of a disease dramatically affecting the United States.

Bravo Ms.
Linda Herman! One of the realest fiction books I've ever read.
This book shows that no-one is immune to such tragedies and to
stereotype a person can cost you your life. The emotions in this
book are real, the truths are real and so are the consequences.
My heart went out to Sade's character as she endured such unfair
circumstances, after she had done all she though was right. She
was the ideal mother and wife. Andre's character made me angrier
by the page because of his selfishness and disrespect. It took
me under 4
hours to complete this book, and once it was done, I felt
enlightened. Linda Herman is a great writer and I can't wait to
read her next piece! Bravo Ms. Linda Herman, Bravo!

without a doubt in my mind Ms L. Herman gets her Point across, leaving me with knowledge about the spread of HIV and AIDS and how it can affect us..
